COVID-19 & Habitat

Our number one priority is, and always has been, the safety of our staff, clients, volunteers, and supporters. All of us share the concerns surrounding the ever-changing situation with the Coronavirus, and we are taking additional precautionary steps to facilitate social distancing and limit community spread as shown below.
That being said, we will be suspending all volunteer opportunities through May 26. We will do our best to reschedule as many of the opportunities as possible.
We want to reassure everyone that our intent is to continue operating and making a difference for this community. We will miss our volunteers over the next four weeks, however, we will continue building, renovating, and assisting with owner-occupied repairs. We do pray these changes will be short term, and look forward to planning and recruiting for our events and activities for the summer.

Both ReStore locations will reopen with new procedures on Friday, May 22. Both stores will also continue online shopping and curbside pickup. See below for details.
We’ve missed all our customers and donors and are looking forward to having you all back in our store. In order to keep our employees and customers safe, we have created additional safety protocols. Please review and come ready to shop!
- Our new store hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
- We are limiting the number of customers in our stores.
- Masks will be required for all customers to enter.
- Restrooms will be closed to the public.
- The Tool Lending Library will be reopened and proper cleaning procedures put in place.
- We will begin curbside donation pickups and these donations will sit 3 days before processing.
- No returns.
- Please come prepared to load items yourself.
Our number one priority is, and always has been, the safety of our ReStore employees and customers. The ReStores have recently taken increased measures to ensure that all who interact with the stores remain safe and healthy during the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have committed to thorough and more frequent wipe downs of check out counters, credit card terminals, shopping carts in addition to our normal cleaning procedures.
Take care of yourself and stay healthy! The best steps you can take are continued hand washing and staying home if you are feeling ill.
