Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund works a bit like a charitable savings account, giving you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often funds are given to qualified charities. Recommend Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity for contributions from your donor-advised fund.

Direct Gifts from an IRA
If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you can make a gift of up to $100,000 each year to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, directly from your IRA. Qualified charitable distributions may be able to reduce your taxes while fulfilling your required minimum distribution.
It’s easy to get started. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift. Your funds will be directly transferred to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity to help create and preserve affordable homeownership.

Gifts of Stock
