Kitchen Cabinet Deconstruction
We offer a FREE kitchen cabinet deconstruction service to kitchens that qualify! Our skilled deconstruction team will remove your cabinets and give them a second life through resale at the ReStore.

Item Acceptance Info
Need to be 100% working, clean inside, with all components (knobs, handles, etc.)
Blinds – only new ones marked as child safe (no dangling cords)
Curtain rods – need to be complete with ends/finials
No damage or water damage, must include all doors and drawers
Individual cabinet doors and drawers – cannot be painted, unless new
Exterior doors – no rot, holes, excessive dents etc.
Hollow-Core Interior doors – unpainted, without cracks, chips or holes
Patio doors – in excellent condition, must be complete with frame, no rotting frames
Solid-Core or Antique doors – No water damage
No Commercial doors, Fire doors or Apartment doors
Residential lighting – no fluorescent fixtures, bulbs, or ballasts
No Commercial lighting
Minimum of 3 complete boxes, not used, unless it is salvaged hardwood and de-nailed
Single full boxes of mosaics or decorative tile accepted
No used carpet, carpet pad, rugs, laminate
Need to be 100% working
A/C units: less than 15 years old and does not use R-22 coolant, should have certified tag that states the unit is properly sealed
Fireplaces: only new or “like new”
Currently taking on a limited basis. No mattresses, box springs, futons, or entertainment centers

No dents or damage
Must be new in retail packaging
No halves or broken pieces
De-nailed, clean, must be at least 6’ in length
Must be framed, no sheets of glass
Latex only, no oil-based materials. Less than 5 years old
Must be at least 90% full, no rust on cans, never frozen, no hazardous/flammable, no partial cans of spray paint
Bathtubs – no cracks or chips in the finish. No cast iron (exception claw foot)
Shower doors – complete with tracks and clean
Vanity Tops and Sinks: free of chips, rust or heavy scratches. No cracks around the drain, no stains or burns
Toilets – complete with stool and tank with lid, no cracks, no chips. Must be 1.6 GPF or manufactured after 1994
Needs to be 4 inches or less in diameter, 6 feet in length or longer, nothing commercial
Shelving is accepted
Complete bundles, no cut pieces
Must be new and complete boxes
Wood – Aluminum or Vinyl clad – must be new, 3 foot x 5 foot or smaller
Vinyl – must be 3 foot x 5 foot or smaller, used are okay
Antique window sashes are okay
Electronics
Pressurized canisters
Non-working tool batteries
Non-working tools/lawn equipment
All donated goods are tax-deductible and can be dropped off at either of our locations. All donations must be accepted by an associate during our normal business hours. Dropping off materials outside of store hours is considered dumping and is subject to a fine.
