Panel Build

A Panel Build is a great team-building opportunity that engages volunteers in building all of the walls to a Habitat home in just one day! Habitat provides all materials, tools, safety equipment/PPE, and professional staff to lead volunteers throughout the day. Panel Build partners would provide the space, volunteers (45–70), and sponsorship commitment of $15,000.

Volunteer shifts range in length from 1 to 8 hours, with most opportunities involving 2.5–3.5 hours of building. Volunteers sign up for a shift through a registration link provided by Habitat and must be 16+ to participate. The sponsorship commitment, combined with volunteer strength, directly supports Habitat’s work to create and maintain safe, affordable housing!

Volunteers

Setup Crew

Setup Crew duties will include unloading the truck, helps get various work stations setup for the day. Potential for some heavy lifting. Please wear appropriate work site clothing, and closed toe shoes.

Wall Builder

Wall Builders will be assembling the wall panels, which may include the use of various tools, such as saws, routers, and/or hammers. Potential for heavy lifting. Please wear appropriate work site clothing, and closed toe shoes.
