Update regarding COVID-19
For the health and safety of our staff, our donors, and our customers we have made the decision to close the Habitat ReStores to the public temporarily. This also means we will not be accepting ReStore donations at this time. We will provide updates on the status of the store closure as they develop.
Our number one priority is, and always has been, the safety of our ReStore employees and customers. The ReStores have recently taken increased measures to ensure that all who interact with the stores remain safe and healthy during the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Every item you donate to the ReStore helps provide funds that go toward GDM Habitat's mission to build homes, communities, and hope. We sell these items to the public at discounted prices. When you donate to the ReStores, you're helping fund Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in Greater Des Moines.
All donated goods are tax-deductible and can be dropped off at either of our locations.
